After nearly one month without updating our company blog, today I finally sat down again in our small office in Toyama, Japan.

The past month has been extremely busy.

While the website remained quiet, behind the scenes we have been deeply involved in multiple product development discussions between Japan, the United States, and China.

One project involves a functional coffee blend and Golden Milk formulation for an American client.
Another ongoing discussion focuses on a new high-potency nattokinase product concept for a Chinese customer.

Every day has been filled with switching between Japanese, English, and Chinese:
reviewing formulations,
discussing packaging,
adjusting ingredients,
communicating with Japanese factories,
and explaining the differences between overseas expectations and Japanese manufacturing culture.

Many people only see the final supplement bottle on the shelf.
Very few see the hundreds of emails, formulation revisions, and cultural negotiations behind it.

This is the real side of OEM development in Japan.
